After moping around all yesterday and last night, I parked my butt on the couch and enjoyed Cougar Town & The Bachelor, 2 TV shows that I knew would help my crappy mood.
I’m sorry but my 3 favorite Cougar Town men add so much light to my life.
I finished up the night with a little fun in the snow with Kip, who absolutely loved chasing snowballs, and then sealed the deal with my new go-to dessert from Chobani.
Key Lime Crumble! Ever since Jen posted about buying it I’ve been on the hunt for it.
The crumble and mini white chocolate chunks were an amazing add-in, and I honestly felt like I was indulging in something unhealthy. Another Chobani win! I think I’m gonna have to try the Almond Coco Loco tonight!
Even after going to bed with better spirits than I started the day with, I still woke up in another funk. I struggled through my morning run, but that leg workout from Tuesday was in full effect today. Ouch!
Both my legs and upper body were extremely sore today and I honestly considered rescheduling todays training, but I sucked it up and I’m SO glad I did because I’m almost positive my funk is dunzo!
Heather focused on a workout that was half legs and half upper body, which worked great for me. The previous few workouts she’s given me have kind of left me with a sour taste in my mouth in regards to me not feeling comfortable doing them on my own, so I was excited after what she put me through today.
My strength training mojo is back baby!
By 12:30 I was starving and had only survived off of my breakfast protein shake and a handful of almonds, so I was more than ready for my lunch.
I heated up a chocolate brownie Quest Bar with a little PB2 action on top, and enjoyed a side of roasted veggies that I whipped up last night.
I know it’s such an odd lunch, but the Quest Bar fills me up for a good 2-3 hours and the veggies are to die for. This is easily my favorite meal and will be popping up a lot.
Speaking of Quest Bars, I scored an amaze deal this morning thanks to the wonderful Janetha! There is a sweet deal on eversave.com where you can get a $20 credit to luckyvitamin.com for only $10. Oh it gets better. By signing up with Eversave, you get a free $5 credit, so in the end, I paid $5 and received $20 to spend at Lucky Vitamin.
What’d I buy? More Quest Bars! I purchased 10 Quest Bars at $2.09 each (or $2.79 at my GNC – eww!). I went 90 cents over my credit, so along with the $5.95 shipping, I spent $11.85. Thank you m’am for that deal!
That would’ve been $27.90 at GNC! I feel on top of the world now. I’m seriously debating signing my parents up so I can have them purchase the same deal as well for me.
Yes, I’m a moocher. Take me in all of my glory.
