Hey guys, cripple here!
Last night with Lindsay was SO much fun! We went to our town’s 2nd Annual Ladies’ Night at our library for a night full of great food and vendors geared towards females.
Scentsy and Shakeology were there(!), along with many other jewelry vendors, female defense vendors, and so forth.
Before we started, we went straight for the food, since t
hat was our main reason for going I was about to gnaw my fingers off. I tried to stay as healthy as possible, but whatever cake bite that was, holy lord was it good!
I was excited to see Shakeology there, but to be honest, the chocolate shake let me down! Our absolute favorite table was the Silpada table, where we recognized the lady from last year, and she recognized us! Just like last year, we spent a good amount of time chatting with her, and she actually signed us up to cohost our own Silpada jewelry party! The pieces are so gorgeous and I want to buy every single ring, bracelet, earrings and necklaces they sell.
We are SO excited for this. Hurry up February 23rd!
After that, I managed to be wide awake until 5 am with excruciating shoulder and right oblique pain. I have absolutely no idea what’s wrong and I’m extremely anxious for 1 pm to arrive so that I can get it checked out. Any body pain wouldn’t be complete with Web MDing my symptoms, and what I came up with is that possibly my gallbladder may be the mastermind behind it all..?
The pain started yesterday morning, but I honestly thought it was just my body telling me it didn’t like the uncooked egg white I put in my protein shake. When the pain dramatically increased last night, I knew something was wrong, and considered going to the ER. It felt as if a boulder had crushed my shoulder, and my right obliques were cramping worse then period cramps. I considered tearing my arm and face off, it hurt so badly.
I let my boss know I wasn’t coming in at 5:25, which is when I typically wake up, and finally was able to get some sleep until 9. Seriously guys, by the time I fell asleep my alarm would have been going off. Rude!
I woke up with no pain, but gave running a shot. Opps. I don’t even know what it feels like to have a broken shoulder, but I can tell you that that’s exactly how it felt. My right oblique was burning, and for the first time, I actually cried during my run. I ran 8+ months in pain from a pulled groin and never cried once, but I couldn’t even make it past the 2 mile mark.
Hopefully I get some good news later because I really cannot imagine being sidelined from lifting and running! I will go in a downhill spiral and will eat 20 jars of peanut butter a day and then appear on the Dr. Oz show as the chunkiest girl alive. I wish I were joking.
I’m going to end this on a positive note, because I’m about to go shopping for new running shoes (those are fab!) and then today is also the day of the redesign launch, so be on the look out for it!! Woo woo wooooooo!
