Last night I ate some of the most delicious foods known to man. It all started when I was watching my 3 kiddos last night after work. Bella, who is the oldest and an 8th grader, has always been fascinated by baking and cooking. I’ve watched these kids for almost 3 years, and Bella has always been baking cakes, cupcakes, or wanting to help prepare dinner.
Last night was no different, as she cooked dinner while I supervised and colored/drawed with JJ and Markie.
I taught Markie how to draw 3D and 4D boxes, and while he mastered the 3D boxes, he struggled with the 4D boxes a little, so he gave up and decided to draw people farting and pooping and doing “boy things.” I love that turd… except his pungent farts!
JJ taught me how to draw cats and seriously put me to shame. I am so embarrassed. She is obsessed with cats so my ego wasn’t bruised too badly. Every time I tuck her in for bed, it literally takes a solid 5 hours because I make the mistake of looking at her “Cats” book while she gets ready. This prompts her to tell me every single thing about each breed. I don’t learn.
Around 7:30, Bella finished preparing dinner, which was a chicken stir fry. At the last moment, Bella threw in a can of diced pineapple, which made this dinner thebomb.com! Her parents pay me to watch them and I think I might pay her to make me dinner every night.
5 minutes after dinner ended, their Dad came home, and he let me leave right away instead of talking my ear off so I could celebrate my Dad’s birthday.
I tried making a happy face out of the candles, but it didn’t resemble one at all, so in good humor, I made my Dad guess what the image was.
He stared at it for what seemed like half an hour before my desire to eat the cheesecake took over and I told him what it was.
My perfect slice of cheesecake is just the crust and mountains of strawbs. After reading that I just realized I have a really weird way of eating cake. I only want the crust on cheesecake and only the frosting on a regular cake.
Woof. I forgot to use my inhaler again today. The beginning of my run had me a little worried because I was cramping up pretty badly, which made me think my cable rows from yesterday’s workout inflamed my oblique strain, but after a mile, the pain vanished for the most part. I was able to cover 3.25 miles running and 1 mile of walking throughout the run.
Since I only have 1 day left of eating as much peanut butter as possible, I decided that along with my steamed veggies, that I’d eat the Quest Peanut Butter Supreme bar that’s been sitting in my desk for a bit. I didn’t realize when I ordered it that it was 210 calories instead of the average 160/170 of all other bars, so I’ve been putting off eating that one for weeks. However, since it had peanut butter in it, I figured today was the day!
I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning because I finally get to shake my rump in Zumba again tonight! I finally womaned up 2 weeks ago to take my first class and fell in love, but last week I couldn’t do it because of my oblique strain. Since I’m feeling like my oblique can handle all the dancing, I skipped my usual lunch time workout for a little booty shaking this afternoon. Last time I burned 450 calories dancing, so I’m aiming to beat that burn tonight!
Look out for me on Beyonce’s next world tour.
