Every time the weekend ends I always wish that it wouldn’t. It seems like the weekends get better and better, and this one was full of great times, so let’s recap!
Friday Night was a much-needed girl’s night with Al. I hadn’t seen her in such a long time, so it was really nice to catch up with my best friend. We took about an hour walk around the local park, and had SO much to talk about! Can’t wait to see her again for more of these moments.
Saturday I was up bright and early for a run and killer back workout before hanging out with my neighbors for a few hours. Got my butt kicked at Monopoly, and I kid you not, the game was over in about 20 minutes. I thought these games lasted hours, so this was not my proudest moment.
After hanging with my favorite 3, I headed over to my Aunt and Uncles to celebrate Lucas turning 2!
I had so many snuggles with my Goddaughter.
After everyone left, I stayed at my Aunt and Uncles with Lindze, Nikki, the babies and Mike and Antoine for more family time and dinner. PIZZA!! Best dinner ever! 2 slices of mushroom pizza for me!
After a late night’s sleep and a cruel dream, I woke up in an actual bad mood, which never happens. My PMS was off the charts bad, and no one was safe. I drove to the gym, made it halfway and decided I had no energy to deal with people, so I drove back home, grabbed my Garmin, bottles and took off to Head’s Pond.
Sometimes you just need the warm sun on your back, bugs in your face, dogs smiling at you, and nature to make you forget that you are grumpy.
Because when you’re out of chocolate, this view at your down and back point is the next best thing for handling PMS.
Love this woman!
I was torn between the steel-cut oatmeal and the organic parfait, but I ultimately went with the steel-cut oats, topped with brown sugar and fresh berries. It was good, but not as good as I was hoping. I’m happy that I made a healthy selection though!
The rest of my day was spent running errands, meal prepping, cleaning, blogging and relaxing!
