Hi friends, oh I’ve kind of missed you and I kind of haven’t. It’s been nice to take a step back from this little blog and live my life. Just kidding, I spent the last week plus sick and exhausted, so there wasn’t much to report. I have managed to take pictures or screenshots for the past week, so I’ll recap what you missed with the pictures!
From the 4th until the 14th I was severely exhausted. You know that feeling when NyQuil finally kicks in and your body is just there and you feel so tired that you can’t even move? That is how I felt from the moment I would wake up, until I went to bed. It was awful. Even with 8-9 hours of sleep, I woke up exhausted.
Last Wednesday I had blood work done, and Ryan Reynolds was so sweet to sit with me in the waiting room.
It turns out I had a viral infection along with low Vitamin D levels. That would explain it. A double whammy on the exhaustion levels.
I turned 28 over the weekend. I did nothing because I was exhausted and had a migraine. Great way to start the new year off haha. BUT, my parents made sure I had an amazing day and spoiled me rotten. Not to mention that my Dad drove 40 minutes away on a wild goose chase just to get me an apple fritter for my birthday cake. My Mom, Dad and I devoured the apple fritters. We had never had them before, and we all fell in love. We just sat around the platter digging into them. I love my parents!
Birthday dinner. My Dad did not disappoint, and I’m still eating that chicken this week!
My cousin Jenn sent me this, and it is perfect.
This is a look into what’s been keeping me so busy during me weeknights and weekends. Not Nessie. I’m extremely excited for the future!
I really want this portable scale! This is really random, but I’m sure some of you would love this too.
I’m still on my peanut butter and maple syrup oatmeal kick. I eat this twice a day. For breakfast and for a snack. It really makes life easier on my wallet, which will be stretched oh so thin for the next 2 years.
And I think that’s about it! I’m finally feeling back to normal, thank goodness, so I cannot wait to really get back into tougher workouts. Oh, and I’m really happy! 🙂
What have you been up to? Fill me in on your life!
