Greetings from Harrisburg, PA!
Yesterday I slept in until 7, worked from home for several hours and tackled a last-minute workout at the gym. I completed 3.5 mile run along with taking 45 of the 60 minute Body Pump class before hitting the road around 11:45.
7 hours later and I was reunited with my nephew Henry, and Ryan and his fiance, Chelsey. Ryan works for Hershey, so whenever I visit, he has a boat load of chocolate hanging around. The freaky thing is that he doesn’t even have a sweet tooth, so he won’t touch much of this. He must have been adopted.
You know the Brookside chocolate covered berries? Well last year Hershey bought Brookside so he has an excessive amount of the products. I’m in heaven.
DO YOU SEE THIS FAMILY SIZED BAG!? It says there are 23 servings in it, but in Allie language, it’s more like 2 servings. I NEED THAT. Ry said he’d send me home with some so I’m crossing my fingers he gives me the family sized bag. I might disown him if he doesn’t.
After the drool fest, Ryan and Chelsey tag-teamed dinner, and prepared a mexican pizza.
We split the pizza in 3rds and scarfed it down while watching Whitney, which is my new favorite show. We hung out for a little before calling it a night.
This morning I was up at 7 to work from home with Chelsey.
I enjoyed microwaved eggs (the best way to cook em), and some toast while tackling several projects for work. It’s so cold out and I saw snow flakes an hour ago, but I’m thinking of tackling a quick 1-2 mile run down by the river before showering and working the rest of the day. The first thing Ryan asked when he called me yesterday wasn’t, “Have you left yet,” but “did you bring your Gold’s Gym travel pass?”
Siblings that work out together, ummm, I don’t know, stay friends forever? We’ll be hitting the gym later, and since he usually gives me an hour time limit, I wanted to get a mini run in this morning so I could run a little later this evening and still do other cardio/weights as well.
P.S first outdoor run since Halloween weekend, I’m scared!!!
