Ugh, the weekend went by too quickly. Friday night I didn’t do a thing except watch Nashville, and it was glorious!
Saturday morning I woke up early for a quick 1.5 mile run, before meeting up with my friend Katie at the box. We then headed 10 minutes down the road to CrossFit Earned, for the “Clash of the Couples” competition.
We had 3 teams competing, and my cousin Jenn, was also competing, so I was excited to root everyone on. Sara and Dan’s back. I just love this girl.
Carley and Coach Mat.
Paul and Shawna.
And my kick-ass cousin, Jenn. If you’re into CrossFit and Paleo, she started her own blog, Paleo-A-Go-Go, at the end of summer and has some fantastic recipes she shares!
The competition was so inspiring, and after watching 3 different workouts at various levels, I am super excited to get back into the box and really practice and focus on my competition in several months!
The rest of Saturday was spent grocery shopping, meal prepping, and watching Nashville. Seriously, I am addicted and lazy. I was in bed at 8:35 with absolutely no shame. It’s been a nice weekend not having plans either weekend nights. The past few weekends have kept me up and out late, so it was a nice and welcomed change.
On Sunday morning I woke up early to get in a long run. I haven’t had long runs in a good amount of time, so I was really craving it. And by long, I mean 3.3 miles haha. I’ve been running 1.5 to 2 miles on my runs as of late, mostly because of CrossFit and time (lunch hours), so I was excited for this run. I’m still getting my running lungs back after being sick for a week, and it was a slow, but steady run, with some HIIT sprinkled in at the end.
The rest of my Sunday I spent watching my 3 favorite kiddos from 2 until 11 pm. Sometimes their father travels for work (he’s a big figure), so if he’s out-of-town when their Mom has random shifts, then I get the call. Literally love these munchkins!
What did you do this weekend?
