I feel like this week’s eats aren’t as exciting as previous, but that’s also probably because there is no Chipotle in here. Can one of you, or every one of you come and have a Chipotle date so I can eat that gloriousness again? I have an important question for you to answer at the end of my WIAW post for Jenn’s link-up, so look at pictures, including the best almond butter around town, and then give me an awesome answer. 3 hours pre-race. Chicken sausage, 1 tomato, 1 dippy egg, & sweet potatoes.
I get nervous when I create one of Mike’s programmed breakfasts into my mornings. I typically use his on-the-go breakfast, but sometimes I like to test things out, especially when bacon is involved. I get scared it won’t fill me up like the above breakfast does, but this one did. 1/2 sweet potato, bacon, 2 eggs, and then I added 1 chicken sausage, which wasn’t on the plan, but I felt like it, and he said adding protein is acceptable.
I’m loving this almond butter from Target. It’s only made of raw almonds, and it is super soupy, which I love with nut butters. I dip a few green grapes in this jar and it’s perfection!
Okay, I get a Paleo cheat meal on Sunday. Plenty of time to plan. Ideas, go!
