Another morning was spent sleeping until 7 am yesterday. I hate life and not being able to fall asleep the past few days. Who am I kidding? I secretly love waking up at 7 during the work week.
I ran 2.5 miles yesterday on my lunch break.
It felt good, but then I ate the quiche I made on Wednesday and my stomach hurt. I’ve narrowed it down to the chicken sausage, and that my stomach doesn’t handle it well, even if it is Paleo approved. Proof that just because you eat Paleo doesn’t mean you’re exempt from bloating and stomach aches.
Last night I had a girl’s night with Lindsay. We have 4 different types of girl’s nights:
- Lazy night in, talking and watching chick flicks
- Shopping at Marshalls
- Scary movies
- Happy hour at The Farm
I honestly think we only do those things. Lazy nights in are my #1. My 2nd favorite GNO was what we did last night. SCARY MOVIE!! Wah wah wooooie!
We LOVE the Paranormal Activity movies (actually love is an understatement), so we’ve been planning to see the new one for a few weeks now. Lindsay’s boyfriend isn’t a fan of scary movies, and I am always single, so I can’t blame a boyfriend for not liking scary movies. It has just become our thing, so thank you J$ for hating scary movies and not going with Lindsay.
Why we enjoy torturing ourselves is beyond me. The movie was really terrifying, and I think maybe one of the scariest ones yet. I screamed out loud several times, and at one point jumped into Linds. After the movie we both commented on how we both felt motion sick during the first half. I actually thought I was getting the bug, but when Lindsay told me she felt sick during it, I knew it wasn’t the case. After the movie I Googled it, and someone said that because the movie was filmed with a hand-held camera, that they got motion sick too. So fair warning if you go see PA5… bring a barf bag! Another good girls night in the books.
Tonight the girls are taking over our CrossFit box and having a girls night!! We’ll WOD together, and then we’ll spend the night talking and eating Paleo treats. We all are bringing different items, such as Paleo pumpkin muffins, bacon wrapped dates, paleo granola, protein carrot cake (I CAN’T WAIT), fruit with paleo chocolate mousse, etc, etc. I’m getting hungry just typing this!
Aside from the girls night, Utah and I have some plans, as well as I have to get food and clothes prepped and planned, as I leave for Phoenix on Wednesday!
Whatchya got planned this weekend? Skiing/snowboarding? Lazy days? Movies? Shopping? Dates with the boo thang?
