Hidden Messages & Gossip Tennis

I’ve always believed that it’s the little things that make a big difference, and yesterday I was proved right. When I woke up yesterday morning, I really wasn’t sure I wanted to go to CrossFit. My upper body was extremely sore from Saturday’s workout, and the thought of a nice walk before work sounded so good. I figured I had plenty of time this week to get some quality walks in, so off to CrossFit I went, even though I knew the workout was going to suck major stinky butt.

We had just completed 6 supersets of heavy front squats. 5-5-5-4-4-4 of 130# (pounds). It was hard, but the actual workout was going to be even harder. Or just more of a pain in my butt.

3 rounds for time of:

  • 15 burpees
  • 30 wall balls

Aka a total of 45 burpees and 90 wall balls.

The thought of this WOD made me want to poop my pants. Some workouts just make me nervous, and I have no idea why. It’s just a natural CrossFit response. I wandered over to a platform while we were killing time before starting the WOD, and when I looked down, I was graced with an unexpected message.

I have no idea why, but seeing this just made me so happy, and while it didn’t make me want to poop my pants any less, it made me realize I can do it. It gave me a positive attitude to approach the workout with determination and not to crap out halfway through.

I attacked the workout as best as I could – tip: wall balls in your lifters make them 100x easier – and was proud when I finished in 9:46 RX’d, coming in 3rd. I felt strong throughout the entire workout, and not only was I happy I made the decision to go, I also attacked it like I was in a competition. Taking a breather only when I knew my body needed to, and not because it was a hard workout.

I kept looking at that image throughout the day, and I think that’s a reason why my Monday was just so awesome.

It was even better when after work I got quality girl time with Jenny at the tennis courts. We were finally able to catch up and just gossip about girly things! I just love gossip tennis.

After 2 hours of tennis and girl time, I headed home to eat a quick bite, type this up, and head up to bed to read. Overall, a wonderful Monday!

Sometimes You Just Have To Whack Balls

You guys. This week. It. Has. Been. So. Stressful.

My workload is up my butt and around the corner with things that need to be done yesterday. Wah. I just need to get that complaining out just once, because I really am obsessed with my job. This week I have turned into the girl who takes 3 hours to respond to texts because of work. High maintenance me was just hoping to keep living the stress-free life after vacation. A girl can wish right? ūüėČ

Anywhoooo, Tuesday was the mother of all days, and I originally had plans after work to play tennis with Jenny, but because of how stressful I was, I contemplated staying late and rescheduling with J. Thank goodness I didn’t, because running around and whacking neon balls with J was just what I needed.

It got me thinking about other things that help de-stress me, that does not include drinking, which is what I had preferred to do!

Listening to Jack Johnson

There is just something so easy-going and mellow about the way Jack’s music makes me feel. I also love listening to his albums on shuffle for 3-4 mile runs. I get in the zone with him!

I could spend hours on Pinterest and feel like no time has gone by. Same with The Sims3. Yes I’m 25 and love that game. Ecards are by far my favorite thing to browse.

Curling up in bed with my magazines is another one of the best ways for me to relax and relieve stress… except when all my magazines come at once and I stress about reading them all. Then the next batch comes and my freakout starts allll over again.

I Packed Two Different Sandals for Work

Yesterday was a Woof Wednesday, but before I get to that, here’s what happened Tuesday night.

Tuesday Night

I finally got to have a girls night with Linds, and it was great! We went for a walk throughout her complex, where I filled her in on my past weekend. It was intense and I had some really great stories to tell her. Unfortunately for you readers, the stories are only best friend approved.

After our walk, we headed inside and relaxed. Jackson lacks manners and left my glass smelling like cat breath. Woof. Meow.

It took us a solid 15 minutes to figure out how to buy tickets, and since we’re so late in the game, we are pretty much 10 rows from the nose bleeds. We don’t care though! The show is actually Labor Day weekend, and is in the town that I grew up in (from age 6-12). Every year, Essex Jct., hosts the Champlain Valley Fair, where there are so many different rides and games to play. During the concerts, if you ride the ferris wheel at night, you can see the show when you reach the top. ūüôā

After girls night, I headed home, prepped some food and then continued on reading It Starts with Food. So good! Can’t put it down.

Yesterday

I started my morning off with a really sweaty workout. I literally rang sweat out of my bra after the workout. It was gross!

Anyways, I completed a 3 mile run before tackling a tough shoulder and arm workout. It felt really good to get back to the weights, which I had desperately missed last week when I was away.

I then headed across the street to shower at work. I showered, put my makeup and clothes on, and then reached in my bag to grab my sandals.

Well, kids. Word to the wise. Never pack your gym/work bag the night before in the dark.

Ahhh! Well, at least I had a left and right pair. It was this or my running shoes. Thank goodness for wearing a maxi dress! My boss and coworkers thought this was hilarious, and I purposefully hoarded 4 water bottles at my desk so that I didn’t have to walk to the coolers every 30 minutes.

IMG_1550Lunch was taken at my apartment so that I could grab the correct sandal. I also enjoyed a bowl of oats with 1 too many scoops of pb. Lately I’m having an issue where I want to burp after this meal but it burns my throat and I want to hurl. Any ideas why I’m having this reaction> Sad day because I think today I might try not having pb oatmeal.

An afternoon of meetings was next, and then it was on to 2 hours of tennis with Jenny!

We played horribly, which is bad since gossip tennis is just hitting the ball and gossiping all night.

After tennis, I prepped some of the Best (Cookies & Cream) Protein Pancakes Ever for today, blogged, and then read more of It Starts With Food!

Such a fun night, which was needed after a busy day at work.

Today

This morning I didn’t want to run. I have those days. We all have those days. So, I decided to complete a hodge podge of a workout that left me feeling surprisingly great!

  • 2.5 mile run, .5 mile walk
  • 5 minutes rowing… so hard!
  • 12 minutes ellipitcal… was going to go for 15 but I was too bored to survive another 3 whole minutes
  • barbell squats & pile squats
  • barbell deadlift
  • core work
  • .25 mile cool down walk

It was a really good workout, and so much better than just running the entire time.

What do you do when you don’t want to do your planned workout? Power through it or mix it up?

The Best (Cookies & Cream) Protein Pancakes Ever

Not only is today Hump Day, but it’s also, “so much goodness in this post” day. Now that’s my kind of day!

I think you will like this little recipe that I have for you. I gave it to several of the girls that work with my coach and they said it was awesome.

These are so good that I had them for dessert on Saturday, post-Foam Fest race on Sunday, and dinner on Monday and yesterday. My parents were even watching my every bite on Monday. This is parent, coach, and best friend approved.

The Best (Cookies & Cream) Protein Pancakes Ever

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 scoop cookies & cream protein powder
  • 1/4 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1-2 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • dash of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 Quest Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough bar (optional)

Directions:

  1. Heat the stove top and spray a pan with cooking spray.
  2. Put all ingredients in a mini blender or food processor, and blend until a liquid.
  3. Break Quest bar into tiny pieces and mix into batter (optional).
  4. Pour batter into pancakes that are the size of your palm.
  5. Cook as a pancake.
  6. Eat ’em on up!

Monday nights batch was made with the Quest bar in it, but honestly, it didn’t do much, except make the pancakes look extra decadent. Otherwise, you really couldn’t notice the bar in it. So word to the wise (unless you’re rich), skip the Quest bar.

Thank goodness for summer dresses because I totally bloated like a mofo after this one. Anyone else wear dresses solely on days you feel heavy or predominately during the week your favorite Aunt Flow is in town? Ayyyyyyy.

There’s a new workout in town that I’m l-l-l-l-l-loving. The 7 minute workout. My coworker Jen introduced me to it on Monday and I went home to my parents and completed 2 rounds after a 1.3 mile neighborhood run in the 93* heat.

In the workout, there are 12 exercises that you complete for :30 seconds each, with a :10 second rest in between. You can complete as many rounds as you’d like, but the recommended is 3 rounds. The exercises include jumping jacks, squats, crunches, lunges, plank, side plank, push-ups, walking push-ups, tricep dips, step-ups, high-knees, and wall sits.7-minute-workout

I definitely felt the burn on this baby! I’m even going to do it again after work today! It’s great if you’re traveling and have no access to a gym, or need a quick mid-day work pick me up.

I’m having a lovers quarrel with my Garmin. It yells at me when I’m behind/ahead/or on pace. Geez, pick only one to yell at me for! It’s extra rude when it yells at me when I’m behind pace as I’m running a hill. It should just be happy I’m running it and not walking the damn hill. Ugh, what an annoying guy.

Last Night

Last night Jen and I thought it’d be smart to play tennis in the 90* heat. We don’t always think before we do things, but gossip tennis was much-needed and it was so great catching up with her!

The only thing getting me through this work day is knowing that I get to have my daily batch of cookies & cream protein pancakes for dinner tonight.

Fro-Yo, Tennis, Swimming, Beer, Best Friends

My weekend was non-stop, full of sun, fro-yo, hockey, friends, cousins, and mich-ultra. It has been great.

Friday

My new shoes finally arrived again. Luckily, they are both sized 8.5. Yesss!!

It was then time to play tennis with Jenny… in 90 degree heat and humidity.¬†We ended up playing for 2 hours. It was so much fun.

Saturday

I started my morning off cuddling my new shoes. I really want these shoes to work out, so I figured if I wanted love from the shoes, I had to give a little love back.

After a good 4 mile run in the new babies, it was then time for a quick 45 minute tennis session with Jen.

I was a sweaty, sweaty mess after the game. I hauled booty up to Concord to spend the day with my cousin, Nikki. She’s an AD at a private school near her house, and they have a pool that overlooks the golf course. So that’s what we did.

After showering up, we headed to the mall to get fro-yo.

After being forced to dye Nikki’s hair, I booked it home, threw on a new leg-revealing skirt, curled my blonde locks, and then met up with Jen at The Farm. Jen had never been, so when she mentioned it Friday night, I told her we’d go out Saturday. The Bruins were on, so it was packed, and Mark actually invited me out earlier, so I told him we’d just meet up if we were both there.

Jen ordered blueberry beer and ate her bluebs with a fork. I love her. Mark came over during an intermission to catch up with us for a bit.

We then left The Farm before the game ended, to head to Margaritas because we were hungry and wanted free chips. We finished our first bowl of chips in 2 minutes. They tasted so good. Then Jen’s new guy met up with us. More chips were ordered. Then Mark came and met up with us. More chips and margs were ordered again. I stuck with the water, but then took Mark’s skinny girl marg (yes, he did order that).

It was a lot of fun catching up with Jen’s guy, since I hadn’t seen him since Cinco-de-Mayo tennis night.

Mark was grumpy because his skinny girl wasn’t good, and then that spiraled into him being ultra sour. He’s such a princess.¬†I’m pretty sure I was close to breaking up my friendship with Mark because of his attitude (but I didn’t because he let me drink the marg).

Sunday

I woke up feeling surprisingly great for the prior night out. I started off with finishing S7 of HIMYM. FINALLY! Now on to the most recent season. Woo!

After that, I went for a run, and followed that up with a day spent with my cousin Lindsay. I checked out her new condo, and then we went to the outlets to shop. I needed new work clothes, but I ended up leaving with a new workout top. Funny how that always happens.

I’m addicted to snapchat, and I wanted to snap a picture of me in the Richard Scary kids toy. Well, at the same time, this mother and her son came over and the little boy literally photobombed my snap, and kept saying he was going to go in it.

The Mother was on my side and actually told her son to wait his turn and let me get my picture! Victory!

We then went out for a cousins grocery shopping trip. And I found these and NEED them.

I had a picture of the meal prep I did, but I figured ending this post with the birthday cake ice cream bars was better than shredded brussels and chicken sausage.

The rest of my night was spent reading and attempting to watch¬†S8 of HIMY (but ummm it’s not online?!). Single life = I can do whateva I want.

And tonight I have a date with the cutie that I snagged at the wedding last weekend.

Tennis, Pickle Salad, and Fat Night at The Farm

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend, and if you had the shining sun like I did, I hope that you were able to get out and soak it up.

Saturday

I spent my afternoon playing tennis with Jen, Bret and Jeff. We goofed around and then got serious with our playing for a handful of hours, before we called it a day.

After tennis, I made myself a big fruit salad.

Into the mix went strawberries, watermelon, undocumented grapes and 2 hard boiled eggs. It hit the spot after a day of tennis, but I was honestly craving a smoothie.

After filling up, I headed outside to detail my car with my Dad.

IMG_8820Jax¬†got a little spring cleaning, and was washed, waxed and vacuumed. He looks so good now! After an afternoon of errands, my Dad asked me if I agreed that a clean car drives better. I said that I wasn’t sure, but that a clean car sure makes me feel sexier. His response?… “Why’d you have to tell me that?”

I then hit the gym, solely because I wanted to detox in the sauna.

After the gym, I enjoyed take out with my parents. I ordered a tossed salad with grilled chicken. I drizzled olive oil and balsamic vinegar on it, and after the photo I added bread & butter pickles.

The pickles seriously added so much to the salad. I can’t imagine a¬†pickleless salad ever again.

The rest of my night was spent watching part of Silver Linings Playbook with my parents, before heading back to my apartment at 9 for game night with Allie and Kris. Well, I actually really wanted to go to bed, but I figured I’d be social and joined them for a game of SkipBo.

Sunday

I didn’t get the best sleep Saturday into Sunday, so when my alarm went off at 7:30, I turned it off and said no to Body Pump. I woke up at 9 and felt like a new woman.

I spent the morning doing adult things like cleaning the apartment, and kid things like eating banana Chobani with crushed up Puffins for a pre-workout snack.

 It was then to the gym for a 4 mile run and full body workout full of barbell squats, lunges, deadlifts, bent over rows, etc, etc. I basically did a non-intense and shorter version of Body Pump.

After the gym, I showered, downed a protein shake, and then smeared pb and Stonewall Blueberry Jam on an English Muffin before heading out to run errands.

¬†I had about 3 sets of plans that¬†allll fell through, so when I got a text from Mark around 2 asking if I wanted to grab a bite at The Farm once he got back from a ball game, I figured why not. Plus, I can’t say no to The Farm. It would be a sin.

If you’re new to Running on Peanut Butter, then let me give you a quick run-down of Mark. We dated in the winter and rang in the New Year together. Went out to The Farm about every chance we got. Tortured the sushi workers, watched hockey and face planted in couches. Then we stopped dating. A week later we frated, which is friend dating. Aka, we were only friends but he would take me out for $100 dinners. St. Patrick’s Day weekend we didn’t see eye to eye on several things and decided to go our own ways. Sometimes people just need time apart. He got in touch with me this past week about being friends, which was honestly a big shock to me, and I took it as a grain of salt.

And now we’re up to last night at The Farm. It was really nice seeing Mark again, and it felt like it had been just yesterday that we were tearing up the town together. I love when you haven’t seen someone in a while and it’s not awkward at all.

We spent 3 1/2 hours talking over drinks before we ordered burgers. I got the Farm burger, minus the BBQ sauce and bacon. So pretty much I had a cheeseburger. With extra extra ketchup.

It was SO much better than that dinky burger I ordered the last time I was there. It was absolutely glorious, and I even got to talk with the bartender that I would do anything for. He is so babealicious. Drool.

With full bellies, we were in the mood for movie night, and since I was given the responsibility of choosing the movie, I went with Limitless, because every Sunday night should include drooling over Bradley Cooper. Plus, now that we’re friends (Mark and I, unfort¬†not B. Coops), I can make inappropriate B.Coops comments as much as I want.

I made sure to quickly get out the door and into the hallway so that I didn’t have to deal with that awkward lingering¬†moment by the door¬†of, “do we hug or high-five goodbye.” A verbal hallway goodbye is always good in my books.

Monday

And today I am tired. I went for a 3.5 mile run this morning, but I wish I could be in my bed.

Grease: Mother/Daughter Date Night

Friday was such a busy day, that I am finding it really hard to get off of the couch this morning.

Yesterday I took the lunch time Body Pump class and I struggled through the entire class.

My muscles were still sore from Wednesday’s workouts, so a handful of the sets were extremely difficult to finish. I’m really glad I truly worked my muscles, but I’m paying for it this morning!

After work yesterday, I went and picked up the Florida Georgia Line cd.

Earlier this week, Megan talked about how she’s obsessed with their remix of “Cruise” ft. Nelly. Of course I had to check it out, and ever since hearing it, I’ve been hooked. I had a $10 Target gift card that my Mom gave me last weekend, so I used that to pick it up. It was hot outside, so this cd was¬†perfect for driving around town with the windows down and music up.

I then headed home, where my Mom and I got ready for a mother/daughter date night.

I ended up scoring VIP tickets to the off-broadway performance of Grease from my firm, so I decided to snag the tickets and take my Mom.

The show was extremely long but it was also amazing! It was the best show that I have ever seen, and I’m so glad we went. The cutie that played Danny is actually originally from Massachusetts, but now is doing really good for himself in New York. It’s always nice to find out a star is from New England.

Saturday

This morning I only slept until 9:15ish, and my eyes are still burning from being over-tired. I think I’m even getting sick!

I started my morning off with a strawberry banana Chobani with Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal sprinkled on top.

I’m about to head out for a hopefully easy 3ish mile run before playing tennis with Jen and I think Jeff and Bret.

I have a bunch of errands I have to run later today, so you can bet I’ll be jamming out to my new cd.

Fridays Should Not Be Crazy/Stressful/Weird

Today has been such a weird day.

It started with my roommates cats frolicking around the house around 4/5am and knocking over our hallway mirror. Luckily it didn’t break, so I thought I’d have some good luck today.

Not so much.

I ran 4 miles this morning, but unfortunately, I felt a major tingling and painful sensation in my right shoulder-blade, again. I slathered on some Tiger Balm, aka my perfume of the day, and got on with my morning.

I was surprised when I saw that my sidekick Jen coworker was already at work. So early. Turns out, she gave her notice. I am about to cry. Monday will be my 1 year with the firm and of knowing Jen, and I literally do not know what I will do without her. I always said if she leaves, I’m leaving. Thankfully she’s only moving a building over, and I will still see her for our workout classes, but being able to plop myself in her office and talk relationships and dating woes will no longer be happening.. except via email and texting.

A lot of stress has been put upon me now, as I have to decide very very soon if I want to take her position or stay in the one I’m currently happy in. There are pros and cons to both, which I will have to weigh heavily this weekend.

In happier news, Lindsay and I were photographed running pretty. I feel like there is no such thing as running attractively, even though when a guy finds out I run, he thinks it’s so sexy. Knowing I run is sexy, watching me run isn’t.

So when I was emailed my race pictures from the professional photographer, I jumped in happiness when I saw that Lindsay and I got a keeper.

So Wednesday night when I played tennis with Jenny, she was telling me about this book that she is obsessed with. It’s called Get the Guy, and it’s by Matthew Hussey, who is the man behind the show, Ready for Love. Anyways, he’s supposed to be this genius with helping girls land a great guy. When Jenny told me the price for the book, I laughed and said hell no.

Then yesterday I spent my day watching his videos and reading interviews. Holy shazam. Man is a genius! After work, I headed to Barnes & Noble to get the book. What a disaster. The older lady helping me started judging me right when I told her the name of the book. She brought me to the “Sex” section and when we couldn’t find it, she forced me to continue looking and “wait there” while she checked another area. After feeling uncomfortable just standing among all the sex related books, I went to go find her. She eventually helped me locate it, and kept making snide remarks about understanding men. I thanked her, and as I walked away, she yelled, across the store, “good luck with the guys!” Thank you. Thank you.

Anyways, last night after buying the book, I ran home quickly to make dinner, which was shoved down my throat in a minute flat.

I then met Jenny at the tennis courts for another night of tennis. On my drive over, she mentioned there were cute tennis guys playing, and we decided that she had to start using some of the techniques she learned in the book so far.

Well, the girl got cute tennis player’s number, and now I’m a belieber.

Back to me. I need to go throw things around at the gym and clear my mind.

Aside from making a pros and cons list, how do you decide on a BIG decision?

Help!

First Tennis Game of the Season

Yesterday was such a fun day!

On my lunch hour, I headed over to the gym to get a little cardio and strength training in. I avoided running altogether because my knee had been acting up, and decided to warm up with 10 minutes on the stair master. Brutal. I then hopped on the bike for 10 minutes before playing with kettlebells. I completed a total of 60 kettlebell squats, 60 kettlebell swings, and 30 standing side kettlebell crunches. I finished up with 5 minutes on the rowing machine before taking a long walk back to work to soak up as much sunshine as possible.

After my workout, I finally tried eating a Quest choco chip cookie dough bar warmed up and holy crap it was glorious!

It tasted just like a fresh, warm chocolate chip cookie. This is the only way I will ever eat one of these bad boys ever, ever again.

I enjoyed my Quest bar with a big tub of roasted brussels sprouts and asparagus that I prepped Sunday night. I had brussels seeping out of my skin for the rest of the day. Just wait, brussels sprouts perfume will be the next biggest craze.

Shortly after finishing my hodge-podge lunch, we celebrated my coworkers birthday with angel food cake, fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream.

I skipped the angel food cake since I wasn’t all too hungry, and loaded up with fresh raspberries, blackberries and strawberries, atop a ginormous glob of whipped cream. I also made a plate of seconds and enjoyed it as my dessert last night.

I had a tennis date with Jenny at 6, so after work, I headed up to change and grabbed a quick bite to fill me up for several hours.

I enjoyed a bowl of my Mom’s panola (paleo granola) in a bowl of almond milk and topped with banana slices.

It was then tennis time with Jenny! When we got to the courts, the high school tennis team was practicing, so we decided to take a walk around the lake until they finished up.

We were only able to play for roughly 25 minutes, but we still had a blast.

We got a little weird before calling it a night. I had so much fun and cannot wait until we can play more and the little high schoolers stop hogging our courts!

I Get To Play Gossip Tennis Tonight!

Last night I had such a great night out with friends. When Allie told me that Katie was coming into Manchester for dinner, she asked if I wanted to come. I asked where they were going, and when Al said she didn’t know, I JUMPED at the chance to hit up The Farm, and quickly offered my recommendation.

They easily agreed, and I easily agreed to go.

Around 6:30 Kenney and Katie arrived to our apartment, and after several minutes of chatting, and showing them our place, we squished into Allie’s SUV and headed downtown. There were two young guys on motorcycles next to us, and we made comments about how they were trying to appear to be cool. Well, one guy took off too fast after a red light, and ended up taking an incredibly nasty spill. I only saw sparks screaming across the road and the biker slide across his lane. Since Katie and Kenney are first responders (actually, that’s Dr. Katie now!), they both ran out to see if he was okay. Luckily, the biker tucked and rolled, and didn’t hit his head (no helmet!), and probably only suffered road burn on his side. I hope he’s okay!

After the brief hiatus on our trip, we finally made it to The Farm 5 minutes later.

I already knew what I was going to order, so I was able to spend my time chatting away with Kenney and getting to know him, but when my burger came out, I meant business.

I ordered the DTF¬†Junior Burger, which was a 5 oz. Angus ground chuck with lettuce and tomato (I held off on the Route 22 sauce), and instead¬†of fries, I ordered a side of butternut squash, which was par at best. My burger was SO whimpy and looked like the size of a McDonald’s burger. I forgot the last time I ordered this back with Mark that it was so small. I really wanted a burger the size of my face.

It was still a great first meal after battling the stomach bug for 4 days!

Katie was wonderful and let me enjoy the pound of fries she had on her plate. She pawned them off on Allie and Kenney as well, and mentioned that when the waiter came back, he’d probably think she was a fat ass for clearing her plate.

After enough fries, I sat back in pain, and it was then that Allie told me we were getting fro-yo after. Apparently she forgot to tell me not to eat a lot. While everyone else enjoyed a big bowl of fro-yo, I went for 2 free samples and watched them eat their glorious creations. I was too stubborn to throw down money when I was too full to enjoy it.

Today

Day from hell since 4 am. The cats started a war outside of my door from 4-5 am. My alarm was scheduled for 5. Knowing they kept me from sleep, I reset it for 5:10, and then finally for 5:45. Once the cats were finally done playing at 5, the birds started chirping outside of my window. Seriously. I couldn’t win.

I finally woke up, packed clothes and food for work, enjoyed some grapefruit, and hit the road for the gym.

I enjoyed a slow 4 mile run and half mile walk this am, and finished up my workout with a little core work. I’m still easing back into my running, and didn’t want to push myself with a too-fast pace. I think I did something to the outside of my knee though because it hurts. I’ve never had runners knee, so I’m hoping it’s not that.

On my way into work, I enjoyed half a scoop of chocolate protein mixed with 10 oz of almond milk, downed an applesauce after my shower, and then an hour later enjoyed an egg scramble sandwich.

2 egg whites, 1 egg and a pinch of shredded cheese went into this sandwich. My appetite is roaring today and making up for the past 4 days, so this sucker hit the spot.

I was going to take a Reps & Sets class this evening and play tennis with Jenny tomorrow, but since it’s going to rain tomorrow¬†and I’d rather gossip with Jenny, I asked if she wanted to play today instead. I cannot wait. Gossip tennis is my favorite way of playing tennis. All you do is talk about people you know, their life, our life, our drama, guy drama, and hit balls around. You should try it sometime. ūüôā
