One of my favorite days of the week is here, and it’s all thanks to Jenn over at Peas & Crayons. Without further ado, let’s jump into this week’s edition of What I Ate Wednesday with several of the meals that have been eaten while vacationing in Florida.
Well, here are 2 things that my cousin ate on our first day. Donut for breakfast. And this dessert. Cookie dough ice cream with an oreo crust, coated with hard chocolate. Whipped cream and a cherry. I died.
I on the other hand, enjoyed a lazy dinner of dippy eggs and veggies on our first night at the house.
Lunch and breakfast included grilled chicken + veggies + avocado.
Along with ground turkey, sweet potato chunks and veggies.
Along with beach snacks of apples, carrots, bananas and sweet potaters.
My favorite meal of the trip was this ginormous cobb salad that was the size of my head.
Second best meal was the salmon and sautéed mushrooms and onions I had with Chris, and the 3rd best meal was this grilled chicken caprese salad I ordered from Sharky’s Pier.
Another typical snack included a banana with almonds. I hate plain almonds, but I’ve had this bag since 1905, and figured vacation was a good time to finish it off.
All I wanted was a Florida orange and I completely failed on that. All the eating out really hurt my stomach, and a majority of the vacation I was in a lot of pain, which wasn’t fun at all. Needless to say, I’m excited to get back into my normal eating routine of knowing everything that is going into my mouth.
What was the one thing you wanted to eat this week/lately that you didn’t get the chance to have?
An orange and alligator for me!
